Basic theory of motivation

The article examines the main motivation theory presented in the history of the organization's management and personnel management. Analyzes the understanding of the nature, objectives and methods of motivation in the classical, content and process theories of motivation. The necessity of knowledge and application of basic modern theories of motivation managers and executives in the human resources management practices for formation of professional competence. It proved economically beneficial the development of integrated programs of motivation of human resources in modern organizations.
