The idea of incentives is based on the fact that any actions of the employee must have certain consequences for him, depending on how he performs the assigned work. Positive consequences increase the likelihood of continuing the desired course of action; negative - reduce; The absence of consequences usually leads to a slow decay of activity. At the same time for different stimuli different people react differently and with varying degrees of intensity. Motivation of labor plays a huge role in adaptation to a market economy, determines the level of survival and efficiency of the enterprise. Motivation remains an important reserve for enterprise development and work efficiency. Systematic study of motivation from a psychological point of view does not allow to determine exactly what motivates a person to work. Knowledge of motivation is necessary in the practical work of personnel management. It helps in the allocation and planning of works. Thus, it is better to assign research projects to employees with a strong need for achievement. Exact work can be assigned to workers with a developed need for competence. Subordinates with a strong need for approval should be constantly encouraged by the supervisor. Individuals with a strong need for power can be credited to the reserve for promotion. The influence of motivation on human behavior depends on many factors, it is very individual and can change under the influence of motives and feedback to human activities.
