Бiosynthesis оf fat flax seed in northern Kazakhstan

Flax is one of the most promising oil-bearing crops in northern Kazakhstan. Over the past 10 years, the area beneath the linen in the region increased by 14 times, so it is a very plastic culture conditions for the steppe and dry steppe zone and oil seeds are in high demand on the world market. Linseed oil, due to the content of poly-unsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), is one of the highest among other edible oils. Depending on the environmental conditions fluctuations in oil varieties can be 36,4-52,0%, at the same time, many authors point out that the change in oil content depends on genotypic differences. Therefore, the aim of the research in a dry steppe zone of northern Kazakhstan on dark chestnut soils of the Akmola region was to study the effect of genotype and climatic conditions of cultivation on the biosynthesis of fat flax seeds.
