DECORATIVE FEATURES SPIREA (SPIRAEA L.)

The spirea, ilitavolga (SpiraéaL.). The genus contains 80-90 species; There are many forms of hybrid. Deciduous shrubs from 0.15 to 2.5 m tall, with a thin, rod-shoots. Fast-growing, forming up to 30-40 cm of growth per year; into early flowering time. Undemanding to the soil, can grow on sandy, rocky and dry. Most species are quite hardy, but their nevyzrevshie shoots may freeze in the winter with little snow, but then the decorative plants is not reduced. Fairly light-requiring, better grow and bloom profusely in the illuminated field. Well tolerated haircut. Resistant to urban conditions.
