Influence of Weather Conditions on the Ontogenesis of the Colorado Potato Beetle

Studies of the reactions of the Colorado potato beetle to the action of environmental factors, including abiotic, in the conditions of the Kurgan region have not been conducted before. Meanwhile, such observations are fundamental for predicting the reproduction and settlement of the pest, the stages and timing of its development. The article is devoted to the study of the reactions of the Colorado potato beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say.) to temperature as the main environmental factor in the conditions of the Kurgan region. As part of the research, the features of the accumulation of effective temperatures from 2021-2022 in the Kurgan region are analyzed.
