SELF-SUFFICIENCY IN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS IN THE SVERDLOVSK REGION

I. P. Chupina, d.e.n., professor Uralskogo gosudarstvennogo agrarnogo Universiteta L. A. Zhuravleva, k.f.n., dotsent Uralskogo gosudarstvennogo agrarnogo Universiteta E. V. Zarubina, k.f.n., dotsent Uralskogo gosudarstvennogo agrarnogo Universiteta

The practical significance of this article lies in the consideration of scenarios for the provision of Russia with ecologically clean agricultural products by domestic producers. Since 2014, there has been a reorientation of both foreign and domestic trade. This is a necessary reciprocal step for the country's food security. Supporting domestic producers in the production of their agricultural products instead of imported products is the only correct way out of this situation. Earlier, the main thing in agricultural activity was to obtain the highest possible yields. At present, with the widespread use of chemicalization and new technologies, it is rather difficult to obtain environmentally friendly products. This negatively affects the productivity of agricultural land. In those areas where there is constant plowing and chemical treatments are constantly used, there is a strong deficit of entomophages and pollinators. Because of this, the yield of plants becomes lower. Therefore, modern methods of using scientific technologies in ecology create new opportunities in the production of agricultural products. Now the problem is also that the increase in the volume of cities and industrial enterprises is removing valuable land from agricultural use. With the loss of these lands, it is necessary to develop new ones, which most often have lower fertility. Therefore, new approaches to the use of land resources are needed.
